My new works with color...my new love really.  This is burned on 90 lb. gsm water color paper, then color is applied with both water color and felt tipped color pens.  Turns out the most unique and different effect that I am totally into right now.  I say experiment and have some fun, don't be afraid...the most wonderful things can be discovered.

This particular project is slotted to be an article in the next and second issue of Pyrography Magazine, published by Fox Chapel Publishing...coming out IN MARCH,2012.

All New...AMERICAN FLAG

This flag ripples up and around into the

EAGLES CLAW  , which also holds a beautiful round bead of Coral in a Tagua (vegetable Ivory) Nut as the Eagles Talon.  There is a slight wave to the shape of the top portion of this wood pen, as well as a real feather embedded into it's finish.  A hint of color enhances this pen for a full effect of the American Flag.

Just finished.....This particular piece will be in show at the Andrews Art Museum in North Carolina from June to August this summer.   I so loved doing this horse, very captivating....This show may bethe first of kind to Exhibit Top  Pyrographic Artists from around the World. Done on Birch Finish Plywood, these Maple Leaves  have been burned in using tiny little dots to create a stunning effect.

These fighting Fish were created using very fine shading....

Nature produces the most interesting visuals one could ever imagine....These were grown in our garden.

I was so fascinated by the entwining dance that I was compelled to burn it onto wood. Then it just screamed at me for color.

This mostly started out as a practice of burning on Paper.  It turned into one of my favorite media to burn on.  100 lb cold press water color paper.

Created from scratch by hand turning a piece of Maple wood into a YO YO and burning a nice Celtic Knot design upon it.
